2005: Despite no further plans to take the long trip to the NMRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, PA, Michael Johnson from 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine found a way to get me out: a photoshoot for a feature article!
The plans were made in late 2004, which gave me plenty of time to begin and complete Project: "Killer Engine Bay". I also figured there was no better time than the present to do a 5-lug brake upgrade, so that was done as well.
As the icing on the cake, I also won my class for the 2nd year in a row and added another Ford Nationals Class Winner's jacket from
the track to my awards collection. Very cool!
