project: killer engine bay

Throughout Winter 2004 I spent my time smoothing and painting the engine bay. I welded all the holes shut, flattened out the lower inner panels, smoothed the overlapping metals, and prepped it for paint with "All Metal" metal filler. It was a long wait until Spring when we could shoot the paint and clear, but it was worth it!

Many thanks to my great friends for help during this project while I focused on the body work: Joe for leading the way during welding and painting, and Dave for pulling and reinstalling the engine.
